A Call to Worship

"And it came to pass when the priests came out of the Most Holy Place (for all the priests who were present had sanctified themselves, without keeping to their divisions), and the Levites who were the singers, all those of Asaph and Heman and Jeduthun, with their sons and their brethren, stood at the east end of the altar, clothed in white linen, having cymbals, stringed instruments and harps, and with them one hundred and twenty priests sounding with trumpets - indeed it came to pass, when the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the LORD, and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of music, and praised the LORD, saying: ‘For He is good, For His mercy endures forever,’ that the house, the house of the LORD, was filled with a cloud, so that the priests could not continue ministering because of the cloud; for the glory of the LORD filled the house of God."

II Chronicles 5:11-14

While reading a book recently, the Lord spoke to my heart about 2008 and I want to share it with you all. The #8 is the number of new beginnings. And that is what 2008 will be - a year of new beginnings to -
           LET PRAISE ARISE AND GO FIRST IN 2008!

I believe deeply in my heart that the key and the arrival of the glory and presence of God is in Worship. Every time we come together in the house of God, it should be in search of the God's glory. The glory starts with unity and preparation.

It is possible to have the priests, musicians, singers and pastors, and still nothing come to pass. It came to pass when the musicians and singers were together as one. Before you can bring the aroma to the house of the Lord, it first has to be in our personal house of the Lord.

WE ARE THE TEMPLE OF THE HOLY GHOST!

Temple means "habitation". When we are personally filled with the aroma of God, worship will not be a struggle in our celebration service. It is not about song selection or the right key - it is about the aroma of God!.

We worship God because He is I AM, because He created us to worship, and because His is worthy of our love, praise, and adoration. When we move toward God in worship, He reveals Himself to us.

In worship, we come face to face with the truth concerning our lives. We might not experience seraphim flying over us, but we certainly can experience God in an intimate and life-changing way through our worship

I want to encourage you to be in the Word daily, develop intimacy with the Lord, and bring your sacrifice of "praise and worship" to the sanctuary when we meet corporately.
