Pastor Joe Sapienza, Senior Pastor
Pastor Joe and his wife Donna have been pastoring at CIC since 1991.
They have a vision to see revival fires burn all across New England. God prophetically called
them to build an international congregation that will touch Metro-West and the nations by raising
up leaders and sending them into the harvest field. Both have graduated from Zion Bible College.
Pastor Joe received his BA in Biblical Studies at Northwest College of the Assemblies of God and
is currently working on an MA from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in Urban Ministry.
Prior to coming to CIC, they pastored in Yaphank, New York, and planted
a church in Bellmore, New York. Pastor Joe is the president of Bread of Compassion, a humanitarian
organizaion and he has taken over 300 lay people overseas on missions trips.
They recognize four stages of growth
in the life of a maturing Christian:
1) Transformation: this is the initial life-changing decision a person makes
by receiving Jesus as Savior.
2) Integration: a new Christian enters into the life of
the church, is water baptized and goes on the Encounter with God retreat.
3) Formation: discipleship training.
4) Multiplication: reproduction of oneself by mentoring, modeling and coaching others.

Pastor Joe and Donna believe that this vision of equipping leaders for
the work of the ministry will transform Metrowest. Serving at CIC is one of their greatest joys.
"We are so excited to see our people grasp
hold of the vision that will change this region."
Pastor Joe and Donna reside in Natick. They have four children: Gina,
Valerie, Christie and Angelo.
